Families in self-isolation during COVID-19: Fostering wellness within your child and yourself (for parents of children 6 to 12 years old)

It may feel like our focus, energy, patience and optimism are being eaten away by the daily grind of juggling childcare, schooling at home, work, domestic and relational demands, and worries about the present and future. In this workshop, we will talk about how parents can foster moments of self-care and self-compassion, of connection (with oneself, and among others), and of validating children’s feelings and experiences, while striving to find a consistent and sustaining flow of the day.

When: Wednesday, May 13; 5:30 to 7 p.m. EST
Presenters: Chiara Frigeni, M.Ed., R.P. and Lisa Schwartz, MSW, RSW
Webinar will be run on a videoconferencing platform.

Pre-registration is required. Email familiesfirst@sickkidscmh.ca and indicate title of the webinar you wish to attend in your email subject line.
