Parents can attend this workshop to learn more about responses to worries and fears, skills to support discussion about worries, and strategies to support your child when they are having big worries!

The workshop is full
During their teenage years, youth often struggle with their ability to regulate their emotions. As such, they may show their emotions in a variety of ways including anger outbursts, unexplained crying, impulsive behaviours and more. This workshop is designed to help parents and caregivers gain the skills to support their developing teen manage and regulate their emotions. More specifically, this workshop will teach caregivers about emotion regulation skills using a Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) approach.
When: Thursday, Jan. 28; 6 to 7:30 p.m.
