Over $530,000 raised at Raise a Child's Smile 2017: 80's Style
This year's Raise a Child's Smile gala raised over $530,000 with funds going towards child and youth community mental health programs, including prevention, early intervention, treatment, training and research activities. All donations to the SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health will go towards the community mental health sites.

New Hincks-Dellcrest Centre name signals shared vision with SickKids
Improving access to mental health services for children and youth has always been a priority of both The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and The Hincks-Dellcrest Centre. Following the recent integration of the two organizations, SickKids President and CEO Dr. Michael Apkon revealed The Hincks-Dellcrest Centre will now be called the SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health. The name change, announced on May 17 at the 20th annual Raise a Child’s Smile gala, represents the shared vision of SickKids and Hincks-Dellcrest to improve the quality of care and outcomes for children and youth with complex mental health needs.

Join The Teen Mental Health Project at the Scotiabank Waterfront Marathon
A group of teens from around the GTA have created The Teen Mental Health Project to raise funds to help children and teens at Hincks-Dellcrest, and build awareness about the fact that one in five children has a mental illness and needs help now. This remarkable set of youth will be participating in the Scotiabank Waterfront Marathon on Sunday, October 19th.  They will run on behalf of Hincks-Dellcrest and our kids in the 5km portion of the run.
